One of the things I love most about working from home is that my work attire so often resembles pajamas, except more fashionable. When I’m not leaving the house for errands, appointments, or to volunteer at the school, I pretty much live exclusively in lounge clothes.
Even when I do have to leave the house, one of the first things I do when I get back home is to change out of my shoes and jeans, and put something soft and stretchy on. I love putting together cute outfits and looking nice, but when I am at home I am all about comfort.
Lately I am really enjoying a few pieces that Albion Fit sent me to try out. Think functional workout and lounge clothes from a family owned business that are also feminine and fashionable. I love that they guarantee satisfaction on all of their items and that they strive for green business practices, like recycling.
Albion Fit has some really adorable swim suits, something I look forward to trying out this summer once these frigid Colorado temperatures are gone!
The Petal Pants are soft and stretchy, not to mention cute (I’m a sucker for ruffled accents), and they transition well from lounge pants to pajamas. I also have the Sweet Strip Hoodie (see previous admission of weakness for ruffles) and the Flatter Me Hoodie.
I’ve worn the hoodies a few times out on runs when it hasn’t been ridiculously cold and they have been great for exercise as well. Both have reinforced thumbholes that help keep my hands warm when it is chilly, but not cold enough for gloves.
The hoodies are such favorites with their soft material and adorable designs that as soon as they are out of the dirty clothes I’m putting them on again. They don’t get a lot of downtime.

I’ve put together five fun and cute winter outfits from Gymboree for Madeline that all have the element of a cream sweater cardigan. Why a cream sweater cardigan? You’re probably thinking that it will just get dirty, but I have a few tricks for keeping my whites looking clean and bright. I picked a cream [...]

How Do You Let Your Great Taste Shine? Big question, right? It’s one I’ve been thinking about all week. There are lots of answers and none right or wrong. This morning I finally decided that my answer comes down to Quality vs. Quantity. I’ve always been one to focus on a few things of high quality, [...]
We’re just about through another month of 2012 and I’m still working on my goals. I think this might be the longest I’ve successfully made a conscious effort on New Year’s Resolutions. Many of my goals, like exercise, have become solid habits now. I really enjoy and look forward to my 2 miles three times [...]
