Grilled Pineapple with Brown Sugar Glaze

This grilled pineapple is a delicious, sweet side dish for summer. You’ll love the grilled pineapple taste with the caramelized brown sugar.

Pineapple is really quick and easy to grill because it only needs a couple of minutes per side to get some nice golden grill marks, and to heat the fruit through.

PREP RICE

1. Combine all ingredients in a medium-sized saucepan. Bring to a boil over medium-high heat. Once boiling, cover with a lid and decrease heat to low. Cook for 15 – 20 minutes, until liquid has all absorbed. Prepare the pineapple while the rice cooks. 3. Remove rice from heat and let sit, covered for 5 minutes.

PREHEAT

2. Preheat grill to medium heat. In a small mixing bowl, combine the butter, brown sugar, fresh lime juice, and salt.

DRIZZLE

3. Place the Pineapple slices on a baking sheet and drizzle with the brown sugar mixture.
