How to Roast Garlic (Whole or Cloves)

PREHEAT

1. Preheat oven to 400 degrees F.

PREP WHOLE HEAD

2. Using your hands, remove any excess loose skins from the garlic heads.

CUT

3. Place the garlic head on its side on a cutting board. Cut the top third of the head off using a sharp knife - the roots are the bottom of the garlic and the pointy tip is the top. Discard the cut portion.
