Macerated Strawberries

Macerated Strawberries are syrupy, sweet, and perfect for enjoying with whipped cream, ice cream, and more!

Sugar is most commonly used to macerate strawberries, but balsamic vinegar or your favorite liquor may also be used.

PREP

Rinse well with water or use Branch Basics cleaner (code KATIEGLE for 15% off). For a DIY solution, mix 1/2 cup vinegar with 3 cups water, soak berries for 2-3 mins, rinse.

HULL

Hull the strawberries: You can do this using a paring knife or strawberry huller.
