I am loving Food & Wine magazine. I subscribed back in November when Amazon had a sale for $5 magazine subscriptions. You can’t beat that! Just one issue usually costs around $5, so you might as well subscribe if you think you’ll even like few things that are featured.
I have cut out so many recipes for my magazine recipe binder project. The recipes are inspiring and the photos are beautiful. I hadn’t ever opened an issue of it until this year, but I’m happy to say I’ve definitely been pleasantly surprised.
I had the chance a few days ago to sit down and read through the August issue and what do I find? A whole feature on modernized Greek recipes by NY chef Michael Psilakis. The feature starts on page 106 and includes beautiful photography along with several recipes that I’ve marked to try such as orange Spoon Fruit with Feta and Spiced Almonds and Greek Salad Sandwiches.
I love how so many refreshing summer recipes that include feta are popping up in the magazines I subscribe to. It’s been great inspiration for ways to use all my Athenos feta! I can’t wait to make those sandwiches, especially. They sound like the perfect no-cook summer dinner. Wish I had better photos for you, my photos of the magazine pages definitely don’t do the images justice!
