Happy New Year and New Contributors!
Happy New Year! I have some exciting things in store for GoodLife Eats this year. We are adding a fantastic line up of contributors to our team so we can bring you new, exciting content. I hope you’ll take a minute to check out their blogs and say hello.
Each Wednesday you will be treated to a new post in the Food section from a fantastic food contributor. We also have contributors in the Books and Style sections that will be posting 1 – 2 times a month.
This week you’ll be hearing from Allison Ruth of Some the Wiser, who you might be familiar with because she has guest posted in the past. She has a fantastic recipe to share with you that will help you get your healthy eating back on track after all of the holiday treats.
Now, allow me to introduce the GoodLife Eats Contributing Writers…
Allison Ruth is mama to three hungry girls. She blogs at Some the Wiser where she takes life as it comes and tries to learn a little something as she goes.
Whether she’s baking bread, sewing, or contemplating the fate of socks gone missing in the laundry, she looks for the peace and creativity life offers to everyone who is paying attention. Living life deliberately isn’t easy, she admits, but it helps when you have good things to eat.
Erica is a girl, newly married to her awesome husband Reuben, who grew up cooking for seven hungry people (Dad, Mom, three sisters, one brother, and herself). She loves to experiment and alter recipes to be a tad healthier and shares her culinary successes on her blog, Cooking for Seven.
She also loves all things pretty and enjoys recreating hairstyles and making her home lovely with simple crafts.
Erin Alderson is the voice behind Naturally Ella where she shares seasonal, vegetarian recipes that promote a healthy and happy lifestyle. Erin believes that it shouldn’t be tough to eat healthy and delicious.
Beyond cooking, Erin loves photography, music, and spending time with two favorite men: her fiancé Mike and her Husky Radar.
Alyssa is the quinoa-obsessed girl behind the gluten-free blog, Queen of Quinoa. She loves experimenting with nutritious and whole-food ingredients and hopes to show the everyday home chef that cooking and eating gluten-free can not only be healthy, but also delicious and fun.

Erin is the blogger behind Texanerin Baking, a blog which focuses on making healthier whole grain, reduced sugar recipes that don’t taste healthy. She grew up in Texas and moved to Germany three years ago, where she now lives with her husband.
When she’s not baking or thinking about baking, she teaches English and does her best to avoid doing the dishes.
Caroline Edwards is a food blogger and photographer, recipe developer, a new mom, and wife. She runs chocolate & carrots where she primarily focuses on healthier baking.
She also runs crackers & carrots where she documents everything pregnancy and baby. She is OCD about having the kitchen sink clean, is a major chocoholic and loves modern and simple styles.
She now stays at home with her two small daughters and blogs about books for readers of all ages, her favorite recipes, and parenting adventures at her blog Everyday Reading.
Jennifer is a current stay-at-home Mom and a former Teen & Children’s Librarian. Although she hates the cold weather, she lives outside of Boston with her husband, their one-year-old daughter, and two cats. She is a writer, reader, runner, cyclist, and trivia nerd.
At any given moment, she can be found reading books of any genre, although middle grade, young adult, picture books, and women’s fiction are particular favorites.
Lexi is a part-time lawyer, part-time blogger, full-time fashion obsessive. Her blog, Glitter, Inc.. is a crazy Type-A collaboration of life, love, family, and all the things she’s dreaming of, from gorgeous clothes to impractical shoes, design, events, arts and crafts, recipes, even the big scary future.
Lexi prides herself on being tacky and prays the paragraphs she scribbles on the back of napkins will morph into a bestselling novel some day.
