The kids will be out of school in just a few days and although I’m excited to spend more time together, I know that the days will feel longer without some fun holiday activities to keep us busy.

Here’s a Christmas Roundup with plenty of fun ideas to engage the kids and bring a little holiday cheer to the whole house!

Holiday Themed Snacks for Kids

Kids are always hungry for a snack, especially during a long holiday break. These snacks, some healthy and some not-so-healthy, are full of the Christmas spirit – Santa and his elves would definitely approve and so will the kids!

Snowman Shots | Brooke Mclay on  Babble

Strawberry Banana Candy Canes | Parenting

Santa Claus Crackers | Martha Stewart

Candy Cane Granola Bars | Some the Wiser

Pita Trees | Betty Crocker

Fresh Fruit Grinch | Another Lunch

Mini Babybel Santa Pops | Cute Food for Kids

Holiday Baking and Candy

There is something so special about spending time in the kitchen cooking and baking with the kids. It is one of the best ways I know to create lifelong memories together. These holiday recipes are perfect for little helping hands.

Christmas Crafts and Activities for Kids

When the kids get tired of watching for Santa and guessing what is in the boxes under the tree, here are a few easy crafts, games, and Christmas themed books to keep them entertained.

Fingerprint Snowman Ornaments | According to Kelly

Roll a Snowman Game | Tip Junkie

Christmas Mad Libs | Classroom Jr.

24 Books to Read in December | Everyday Reading

Jar Luminarias | Spoonful

What are you planning with your kids for Christmas break this year?

I don’t have kids yet, but I still plan on taking time to bake with friends and neighbors. Getting in the kitchen with friends is the best way to spend time off for the holidays 🙂
